Statement of the CaptivesFREE Mission
“For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.” (Hebrews 13:14, NLT)
This world is not our Father’s house. We are all born into this fallen world with a sinful nature. From the day Adam and Eve sinned against God, mankind has been held captive by the prince of this world – the devil. Whether it is through our family, our education, or our culture, the enemy continuously feeds us lies about who we are and who we need to be. Because of this, we become broken and are even being defined by others who are broken.
In this darkness, we try to seek light and find our purpose in life, but we meet disappointment, emptiness, and hopelessness along this path. We soon recognize that we are trapped. In our mind and in our soul, we begin to compromise our true identity and, in the process, become a captive to the false witness and accusations of the devil. We begin to become who he says we are…
Unworthy
Unqualified
Unloved
Unwanted
A mistake and a failure
You can accept this lie… or today you can draw the line and say, “NO, this is NOT who I am!” If you are willing to hear the truth and accept who you TRULY are, then this is the Word for you: “Jesus replied, ‘I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.’” (John 8:34-36, NLT)
In Christ you are FREE!
It is time to accept your true identity and become the Princess of the King!
“And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:18, NLT)
